Representing hard-working families, especially single mothers (as he was raised by one). Barry’s concern is the gap of homeownership for African-Americans has not changed in the last 40 years, and his goal is to do his part in eradicating that through education and other ways. He has caught the attention of LinkedIn members, Facebook, and the mortgage loan industry. His good humor, good looks, and 20 years of experience combined in the insurance the mortgage industry makes him a vital resource for homebuyers.

Raised on the west side of Chicago , Barry understands the struggles and triumphs of living in the inner city and desire to be a homeowner, he also understands the benefits of life with homeownership he also knows that a house is not a home without a stable community and that’s why he has ran a Saturday School tutorial program, spoken to at-risk youth and wrote and produced a play that dealt with the issues of today’s youth and helped to helped offset college tuition for a few of its cast members. With Chicago weather, culture, and trends in the African-American community Barry takes his knowledge to schools, churches, and the community. Educated at the University of Houston receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He made the Chairman’s Elite Club in 2017 with loanDepot. In his tenure he has made the dream of homeownership come true for thousands families in his career.

Barry is a believer in giving back and enjoys working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, veterans and single mothers hold a special place in his heart.
